Aishling is a contemporary fine art photographer and performance artist from the midlands of Ireland. Merging social commentary with her self-reflective practice, Aishling is inspired by nature's rhythm, and cycles of death, and rebirth. Her work documents times of transition in her inner and outer worlds, resulting in multi-sensory installations, transforming space, combining photography, video, audio, performance, audience participation, and words. Aishling's works have been recognized, awarded, and exhibited internationally and her art has been supported by the Irish Arts Council through both regional and national awards.
